Andrew Berke is a partner in the law firm of Berke, Berke & Berke. He graduated from college at Stanford University with honors. After college he worked for Congressman Bart Gordon of the United States House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. Congressman Gordon represents the area around Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Andrew left Washington to attend law school at the University of Chicago. He graduated with honors. Following law school, he worked as a law clerk for Judge Deanell Tacha of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Judicial Circuit in Denver, Colorado. During this time he also taught at Kansas University Law School as an adjunct professor.

At Berke, Berke & Berke, Andrew has worked extensively in the personal injury, employment discrimination, and workers’ compensation areas. He also does domestic or family work, insurance and bad faith cases, and business litigation. On the appellate level, Andrew has argued numerous cases, using his background at the federal Court of Appeals to enhance his brief writing and oral argument capabilities. In the trial courtroom, Andrew has been at the forefront of using technology to illustrate facts and make arguments to jurors. Using programs such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Andrew has shown detailed presentations regarding liability and damages to jurors, furthering his attempts to achieve the maximum return for his client.

Andrew is currently President of the Chattanooga Trial Lawyers Association, and is a charter member of the local chapter of the Inns of Court. He also serves as a founding member of the Chattanooga Pro Bono Association.

Andrew has previously served as a member of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association Board of Governors, as well as a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association (ATLA). Currently, he is on the board of the New Lawyers Division of ATLA, and the firm is a member of ATLA’s Leaders Forum. He has spoken at Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association seminars on topics such as Automobile torts, Workers Compensation, Requests for Admissions, and Ethics.Recently, he co-authored a chapter for a trial handbook for West Publishing.
