Chuck Flynn joined Berke, Berke & Berke in February of 2015. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced with a litigation defense firm in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Chuck’s prior experience includes probate work, working on complex environmental disputes, personal trust and estate planning, litigation, and contract negotiation. He originally decided to become a lawyer for the simple reason of helping people solve their problems. He practices by that ethic to this day.
Chuck graduated from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Government. While at Dartmouth, Chuck was a varsity basketball letterman and was selected for the Ivy League Honor Roll on two occasions. Chuck also became the Chief Financial Officer of the Dartmouth Law Journal, publishing two articles while in the process.
Following Dartmouth, Chuck earned his J.D. from Notre Dame Law School, where he served on the Executive Board of the Student Bar Association. Chuck also worked as a research assistant for a professor at Notre Dame, researching various property issues, and clerked during his third year at a regional environmental law firm.
Chuck moved to Chattanooga following his graduation from Notre Dame Law School, and the Scenic City quickly became his home. Chuck has been engaged in the community as an assistant basketball coach for a local high school, a fundraiser for Legal Aid of East Tennessee, and a member of the Inns of Court. Chuck also serves his fellow alums at Dartmouth College as an Alumni Councilor. In his free time, Chuck enjoys spending time with his sister and other friends, playing basketball and golf, and exploring the greater East Tennessee region.
