Timothy J. Crosby joined Berke, Berke & Berke in May of 2017. Timothy received his bachelors from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and his law degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law. Timothy grew up in rural Southern Illinois and after college moved to Appalachia to serve the communities of Southwest West Virginia. Through his travels and work experience, Timothy learned the importance of being strong advocate for the community. This core tenet led Timothy to pursue the practice of law. Timothy’s guiding principle is to be a civil servant and advocate for his community.
Throughout law school, Timothy worked for a prominent local law firm and served as a summer clerk for the Honorable Judge Gilbert of the Southern District of Illinois. Timothy also had the opportunity to gain invaluable experience as a summer associate for Savage, Turner and Pinckney of Savannah, GA. During his time at the Southern Illinois University School of Law, Timothy wrote for the Journal of Legal Medicine and represented clients across 13 counties while participating in the University’s Civil Practice Clinic.
After graduating law school, Timothy moved to Chattanooga. He was immediately taken by the beauty of the mountains and warm hospitality of the people. Timothy is excited to engage and contribute to the Chattanooga community. When he is not in the office, Timothy spends his time fly fishing, golfing, and hiking.
Timothy’s experience in the practice of law encompass personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability, and retaliatory discharge. He has also fought for clients’ civil rights through litigation. With Chattanooga’s growing start-ups and businesses, Timothy is here to represent clients with corporate and security legal issues.
